What Loving KindnessMeditation is About?
What is love? Why we
all need it? Why it is so important? Why should we practice loving kindness
meditation? Answers to those and similar questions are not easily describing.
Love is about feelings, and it should be felt and only those who have
experienced pure, giving, unconditional love know that it doesn’t needs
explanations. We will, however, say that love is universal energy of good,
light, truth, and justice, beating all possible fears caused by our ego.
This is why, among
all, loving kindness meditation should be practiced. It has some meanings on a
deeper, ontological level. Two forces are dominant in the universe: love and
fear. Ego is fear; love is freedom from the ego. Love is light, ego is dark.
Love is noble, releasing all the best humans have inside them.
Why is Loving Kindness Meditation so powerful?
Because the heart is
most powerful organ. Simply, it is the center of life. Being it, it is center
of our love for ourselves and for others too. Meditation itself is love for
yourself, and you are not able to love others if you don’t love yourself. Love
is respect and understanding of life too. Any meditation allows you to
understand yourself, life, and existence in a more profound way, while loving
kindness meditation upgrades most sublime feelings inside your worldview.
Even those who are
making first meditation steps, or those who don’t meditate at all,
know that kindness is the essence of positive human interrelation. And not for
humans only, but for all living beings and why not for mountains, rivers,
stones…? Kindness isn’t possible without love. A deep loving kindness
meditation will fill your heart with compassion for all living beings, for
whole world and whole universe.
So, it is all about
the heart. It is the vital and most powerful organ in our body, as the Heart
chakra connected to it radiates most powerful spiritual loving energy,
affecting all other energetic centers of our etheric body and your behavior.
How to Practice Loving Kindness Meditation?
You can practice it
most different ways. Know that every meditation technique involving heart
chakra can be kind of loving kindness meditation. Even if you practice some
of stress relief techniques, you are practicing love for yourself
and for others, because by releasing yourself from the stress, you release
others from your stress too.
So, get your favorite
meditation posture, clear your mind from all negativity, start your breathing
rhythm, and just focus your mind (and heart) to something filling you with the
lightness of joy and happiness.
Deepen the feelings
and believe that your love can change not only your and lives of your closest
ones, but the whole world too. Why don’t you meditate on stopping all wars, for
example?
Loving kindness
meditation produces highest vibrations and frequencies of peaceful behavior,
and this is why today many and many people perform group meditations throughout
the world to raise up the positive vibes of Mother Earth.
Join them sometimes;
it’s a beautiful experience of compassion and unconditional love.
It is up to you to
which level you will extend your love in this existence, as it is up to you how
much you will be able to give and receive love. Loving kindness meditation is
one of the answers how to become better person. The capacity of heart is same
for all people in the world. It is up to you will you use yours for blood
pumping only or for making a passionate love with life. Don’t “fall” in love –
rise in love!
